Today Epstein Design Partners launched the newly designed and developed website for Downtown Cleveland Alliance. The new site features an aesthetically appealing interface, an easy to maneuver navigation system and a robust/custom Content Management System to allow the client to take more control of their site. Introducing the ability to upload images, captions and links into the rotating flash header through the CMS is one of the many ways that we enhanced the client’s ability to make changes.
Downtown Cleveland Alliance adds to our roster of other civic and community development focused clients in the Cleveland area. We look forward to building upon this niche and supporting our local communities and businesses in doing so.

Friday night was the AIGA Cleveland Design Competition ceremony at the Arts Collinwood gallery. The exhibit was a small selection of fine works by local Graphic Design firms. Epstein Design Partners was recognized with four pieces in the show.

Having worked with Omeka since it’s days in BETA, we have seen a lot of changes with the platform. Building a theme for Dr. Tebeau at Cleveland State University, we were able to get into Omeka before many other developers/designers. We visited the campus of George Mason University in the Fall to meet with the Center for History and New Media to get one on one training from there great team of developers and designers. Omeka always held a lot of promise but now the team at CHNM are taking it to a higher level. It is an honor to appear on their website as a Featured Omeka Designer and we look forward to working on more projects built on the Omeka backend.

The Case Western University Weatherhead School of Management recently called upon Epstein Design Partners to give the prestigious school a strong web presence with an enhanced design. Fitting in with the University’s new branding and parent site, Epstein freshened up the site and made the site easier to navigate.
Today, Epstein Design Partners, Inc. launched University Circle’s website in conjunction with the opening of the University Circle Visitor and Living in the Circle Center. Chris Ronayne, President of UCI, Inc., noted these exciting touchstones at a press conference held this morning in front of the Visitor Center – emphasizing that they signify true progress in the development plan of the University Circle area. The launch of the new website and opening of the Visitor Center is the culmination of the brand identity work Epstein Design has been working on in collaboration with UCI, Inc. for the past year – including logo, identity system, brochures, collateral and Full Circle, the University Circle quarterly magazine. In addition to a more brand-centric design, one of the key components of the new UCI, Inc. website is the Interactive Map and the integration with Yahoo! Maps to provide real data and addresses for their attractions and institutions, allowing greater ease in finding area attractions and providing quick links to directions.

CLEVELAND (July 23, 2008) – University Circle Inc. (UCI) today announces, as part of its Find Yourself In the Circle campaign, exciting new opportunities for University Circle visitors. Visitors can now experience the Circle’s first Visitor and Living in the Circle Center presented by National City, a new interactive website, and a Find Yourself in the Circle Pass that gives patrons a variety of options for reduced prices on admissions and meals at the Circle’s world-class museums and restaurants.

Housed within the new Visitor Center are numerous brochures, magazines and pamphlets that Epstein Design Partners had a hand in creating.
Shooting more and more, we are getting more seasoned in photography. The newer DSLR cameras make it easier than it used to be and with help from photographer friend Russell Lee who supplied a Nikon Speedlight and ttl cord to aid in our photographic adventures.

Recently launched the website for The Greenhouse Tavern. This is Chef Jonathon Sawyer‘s next venture. We at Epstein Design Partners have worked with Chef Sawyer with the branding and visuals on this project as well as producing the website.
Located on the rejuvenated E. 4th Street in Downtown Cleveland, The Greenhouse Tavern will offer a gastropub type of menu with an emphasis on local and regional ingredients. The look and feel of the website is based upon the green movement with textures and elements that reflect the mission of the restaurant. The photo gallery and blog provide easy access for the client to keep the site updated with fresh content.
What is the Greenhouse Tavern?
The Greenhouse Tavern’s vision as a restaurant is guided by two principles: the idea that the proximity of the farm and soil to a restaurant correlates to the quality of its food and that environmentally conscious or green business practices are fundamental. Using these two complementary principles The Greenhouse Tavern will serve food inspired by classic recipes interpreted with local ingredients in a casual atmosphere at approachable prices.
Looks like this will be a great new spot for a birthday lunch, or holiday dinner.
